The short film "Eggshells", created by Made By Mortals, explores the hidden issue of domestic abuse among older adults. It aims to raise awareness about this often-overlooked form of abuse, portraying various manifestations such as coercive control, gaslighting, and emotional manipulation.

The film is deeply informed by the lived experiences of individuals who have faced domestic violence, adding authenticity and emotional weight to the narrative. It is also used as an educational resource in training programs for law enforcement and other professionals, equipping them with a better understanding of how to identify and respond to domestic abuse in older populations.

Ultimately, "Eggshells" serves as a powerful tool to highlight the complexities of abuse in later life and to advocate for greater support and intervention in these situations.
